Rowlinson Packaging (South) is investing £550k in a new green energy system that allows waste material to be turned into energy to heat the factory and run our timber kilns. This new initiative will remove the need to have waste collected from the site thus reducing our carbon footprint, it will also reduce our reliance on heating oil. Initial installation in currently under way and we will be fully operational in time for the Autumn when we start to see the need for heating.

Andy King (Managing Director) commented – The investment in the latest technology Biomass plant together with recent investments on a new manufacturing building and automated pallet machine further demonstrates our commitment to be the market leader in the timber packaging sector.
